HISTORY
Myron Manning started infrared scanning around 35 years ago through his electrical contracting company Manning Electric Inc. During that time Jeff Mead completed engineering school and developed diverse experience in facilities and utilities. The two met over the years when Manning Electric scanned facilities where Jeff was on staff. When Myron retired, Jeff took the opportunity to buy the business and created a new company, Bluewave Infrared Scanning LLC.
BACKGROUND
From Wood River, Nebraska, Jeff learned welding and repair in the family business and the trades doing handyman work. Jeff went on to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he obtained a Mechanical Engineering degree. Jeff is a Certified Plant Engineer through the Association for Facilities Engineering and a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Nebraska. His 30 year career in facilities and utilities has provided a variety of experience with manufacturing plants, industrial processes, commercial facilities, power plants, and substations.
